I am unable to source a Passiflora coccinea (Scarlet Passionflower) plant. I live in the Redland Bay area of Brisbane (Cleveland) and would appreciate help in locating a plant.

Although this is getting weedy in FNQ and becoming less available commercially, it's still a common rootstock for more delicate cropping passionfruit varieties and it wouldn't be a surprise to find it in the climber section of a local Brisbane garden centre. Online, it's being offered at www.choiceplants.com.au. Seeds are available on ebay and it's meant to be easy to grow from seed or cutting.
